Preparing your child for Kindergarten in Dubai
'Kindergarten' is a pleasurable place for a child, a time ahead of apprehensions and close to enjoyment. But, how do you equip your kids for having a great enlightening experience for kindergarten? Many parents are anxious about the willingness of their child to start kindergarten. These schools initiate an educational course for most children and can be a critical time. While kindergarten is a beginning to an epoch of formal education, there are numerous things that should be taught at home before your child commences his or her kindergarten class. Here is a list of some of the rudimentary things that you should explain your child before he or she has their first day of school to ensure a smooth and successful educational process that is waiting for him or her.
  •  One of the most imperative things that your child should know before starting kindergarten is the basic guidelines of safety. These rules include how to use a crosswalk and the prominence of looking both ways for traffic. Moreover, a child should be taught about personal safety too.
  • Many children don't have an opportunity to intermingle with other children of their age before they start their schooling. Teaching your child about sharing his or her toys, use of words “thank you” and “please” and simple instructions of social communications can help to make the evolution easier. Your child should know that it is not right to hit or bite other kids and also to harmonize with fellow children while playing.
  • Your child should be aware of some of the rudimentary skills of in-dependency and self-sufficiency before they start kindergarten. Potty training should be complete and your child should know how to ask the teacher for going to the bathroom. He or she should know their own name, phone number and address, and should be able to distinguish their own things such as a bag, lunchbox, water bottle, etc.
  • While it is accommodating for your child to know the alphabet and primary numbers before they start kindergarten, it isn't always compulsory. The more conversant your child is with basic learning ideologies, the more affluent he or she will be in kindergarten and the easier it will before them to adjust in the all-new environ of Kindergarten.
